In the 18th century
classes, students were taught to prepare for the industrial revolution. We have
been trying to raise people with the same model even though we have
revolutionized the industrial revolution until we reach Industry 4.0. People
who do not know a lot in the new world, who can reach when they need the right
information, constantly improve themselves and who can adapt to change or even
manage change are successful. In these days when we talk about Industry 4: 0,
we need to train individuals who will be experts in their field and will
contribute to a multi-faceted economy instead of workers with equal and
standardized skills.
We are experiencing
digital transformation in education. Students should be educated not only in
mathematics science, but also in people who know teamwork. They should be
people who have strong literacy and communication skills capable of critical
thinking and problem solving. We should teach students how to learn and even
teach them lifelong learning
